This is a tremendous find. This bike is stock right down to its mirrors. The TS185 was absolutely the best dual purpose bike of its period. Light nimble, great handling. I rode one to the highest off road peaks in 1976. It is truly unusual to find a top quality dual purpose Suzuki that wasn't ridden hard off road. Suzuki's had issues with chrome, but not this one which must have been stored inside all the time. Speedo and tach function properly and are bright and unfaded. Stock turn signals that are straight and unbent. Rims are bright without rust. The gas tank is near perfect paint and decals, inside is bright and un rusted. The seat has no rips or tears, stencelled Suzuki clearly on the rear., sidecover excellent It has a very low 4400 miles I just cleaned the carburetor, the bike starts easily, runs cleanly at all rev ranges and settles down to an nice low idle. Brakes are the best I have ever seen on a period enduro bike. Oil injection connected and working as expected. Comes with its original owners manual and tool kit.

The fenders are straight and unbent, handlebars straight.  Headlight, tail light, turn signals and brake lights all work. All wiring appears to be stock. The speedo,  tachometer, warning lights and fuel gauge work, as well as its illumination, see the pictures.    Its throttle,clutch action and gear shifting works as they should.  It had a new Yuasa high performance battery last fall.  The battery is also pre-wired for a quick connect for a battery tender. Tires have decent tread and hold air well, but I wouldn’t take a long trip on them. A performance bike like this should have new tires. The front fender being plastic has some alligatoring and loss of paint as shown in the pictures. However I do have an Original GS1100E exhaust system that I bought on Ebay for $300 that will go with the sale.

Except for a performance exhaust header and a brand new premium reproduction seat cover from the well known seat manufacturer Sargents, this bike seems to be a stock GS1100E.
